Problem to be Solved: A large freight company needed a sealed 6,000 SqFt concrete floor with a minimal amount of slip resistance. Concrete floor had elevated moisture levels
Unique Characteristics: Concrete slab had fibers which had to be burned off after shot blasting. Floor was well vacuumed prior to epoxy installation.
Solution: KOSTER created a solution specific to this customers needs by combining KOSTER’s Moisture Mitigation System with aggregate for a low cost, effective solution.
Application: Floor was shot blasted to ICRI CSP 3 profile. This exposed the reinforcing fibers in the concrete that had to be burnt off before continuing with installation. KOSTER VAP I® 2000 FS was combined with TA Thickening agent to fill saw cuts and large cracks. KOSTER VAP I® 2000 FS was installed with a minimal amount of KOSTER Slip Resistance aggregate broadcast into surface.
